Kings Theatre Company is a professional theatre organization that presents touring artists of the highest quality, such as the national tour of the Broadway smash hit Cabaret, the Russian Ballet Theatre, the highly acclaimed Tango Buenos Aires from Argentina, the incredibly talented United States Military Academy Jazz Knights, the national tour of To Kill A Mockingbird performed by the Montana Repertory Theatre, and the legendary singer-songwriter Don McLean.
Each year, our diverse offerings include extravagant Mainstage shows, charming Children’s Theatre productions, a monthly film series, Theatre Workshops for high school and college students, Summer Theatre Productions performed “On the Wharf” by the shores of Creamery Pond, and free outdoor community concerts in the summer. We give free tickets to other area non-profits for their own fund-raising activities, create internships for students interested in theatre, and offer community service hours for high school students in return for their volunteer time. All this activity ensures that Kings Theatre Company and the Lycian Centre remain vital and active members of our community and that we offer something for everyone who looks to the performing arts to satisfy their need for culture and entertainment.
